Composite Shapes Extended Response

I think she needs the smaller bag. To, figure this out first, you divide her yard into different shapes: a parrallelogram, a square, and a triangle. Next, you find the area of the triangle which the formula is 50x 30 which equals 1,500 and then divide 1,500 by 2 which is 750. Then, you find the area of the square, the formula is 50x 50 which is 2,500. Next, you find the area of the parrallelogram, which the formula is 50x 30 which is 1,500. Finally, you add 750, 2,500, and 1,500 which the sum is 4,750 sq.ft. Therefore, she needs the smaller bag.
